1000 movement held a press conference on the recent developments of the estate workers struggle for salary hike. They condemned the collective agreement to be signed with the estate owners and the government increasing the salary only up to Rs.700.The 1000 movement has decided to accelerate their struggle together with all the estate workers to defeat the said collective agreement and bring the daily wage of the workers to Rs.1000.
